Dr. Tony Martin passed away on this day, January 17th, in the year 2013. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Martin would become one of the world’s premiere scholars of African history and Africana studies, teaching at the prestigious Wellesley College in Massachusetts. He wrote many books specifically on revolutionary African figures like the honorable Marcus Garvey.
His career almost came to an abrupt end, despite being tenured, when he decided to teach a particular part about the history of African slavery and the African holocaust that angered those who wished not to be exposed. Dr. Martin did not “single them out,” as his critics would say, as he equally taught about the role of Anglo-Saxons, Arabs, and even treasonous African tribes who sided with the monied European powers.
This one demographic that he exposed was the Jews’ role in slavery.
Despite the power that wealthy Anglo-Saxons have in the US government, the pressure that Dr. Martin faced for exposing the Jewish role in slavery was nowhere near as severe as the Jewish lobby’s onslaught against his name and career. This lobby is way more well-organized and powerful than their Anglo-Saxon counterparts.
In this speech by Dr. Martin, he explains the anti-academic, anti-intellectual public campaign against his career by the Jewish lobby to have him removed for teaching historical fact.
The African holocaust, a product of the inhuman slave trade, is not something to look past nor give a free pass to any of its perpetrators, regardless of what their background is. Discussing one group’s role should not be a means to pass all the blame onto one and exonerate other groups. An even-handed measure should be taken, especially given the historically close relationship between the Rothschild family (a Jewish banking family) and Western European powers, making them partners in crime.
Non-Jewish Westerners aren’t exempt, and for them to paint themselves as innocent lambs occupied by powerful Jews is a cop out since no one can come to power over society without the participation of the people in the system. Either they are as evil as the rulers or they are too weak and impotent to do anything about it – either way it is an embarrassment and by no means can it absolve anyone from the crime. Jewish liberals also do the same ahistorical act of passing the buck when they blame all the woes of Afro-Americans onto whites.
In fact, both whites and Jews were partners in the oppression of Afro-Americans until they realized 1) that blacks could potentially link up with the Palestinian liberation cause; 2) black economic emancipation as preached by Marcus Garvey was a threat to the whites who politically controlled blacks via the Democratic Party and Jews who economically controlled blacks via the banks, businesses, and landlords of the ghettos; and 3) aside from preventing black-Palestinian solidarity, they wanted to additionally gain support for “israel” via the Protestant Christian leadership of the black community, as Protestantism has always been the most sympathetic to Zionism.
This explains the growth of the movements of white liberals and Jewish liberals in the mid 1900s during the Civil Rights movement. Martyr Malcolm X often referred to these groups as the “sly foxes” who want to keep Afro-Americans in the same pitiful state, just using different tactics and methods to keep them under their political or economic control. The NAACP was designed to intentionally deceive Afro-Americans by promoting tactics and strategies that kept them under oppression.
American Jewish politician Bernie Sanders is a quintessential example of the faux-“ally” of black Americans. He is of the liberal Zionist variety, who lived on a Kibbutz farm in occupied Palestine after the Nakba massacres. To this day, he consistently defends “israel’s” “right to exist,” and only mildly criticizes a few aspects of “israeli” policy, not the system of Zionism itself. His arrest in the 60s was nothing but a publicity stunt for liberal Jews to win allies for Zionism and the “israeli” Labour Party. On the other hand, Zionists of the right-wing Likud variety were courting the right-wing types in American society. Mr. Sanders would never readily admit the involvement of his own people in slavery nor the fact that anti-black racism is rife within Jewish texts like the Talmud.
Dr. Martin came under pressure from so-called “anti-racists” who wanted him to treat a certain group of racists with kid gloves. This is offensive for the honor and dignity of a man like Dr. Martin – after all, his very existence in Trinidad and Tobago is due to the fact that his ancestors were kidnapped from African and brought to the Americas. In fact, Jews were more likely to have been involved in his family’s suffering than Anglo-Saxons and Dutch, because Jewish involvement in slavery was more prominent in South America and the Caribbean than in the North American colonies.
One linguistic slight of hand that Dr. Martin was pressured into adopting was the notion that he should use the term “some Jews” instead of “Jews.” In his book, The Jewish Onslaught, which detailed the attack on his academic career by the Jewish lobby, perfectly described the hypocrisy and anti-intellectual overtones of such thought policing:
A favorite refrain of those Jews who would even admit of any Jewish involvement in the African holocaust has been the admonition – “You should say ‘some Jews.’ All Jews were not involved in the slave trade.” Nor, I say, were all Christians, or all Arabs. Nor did all Americans invade Grenada. And I am yet to meet the Jewish historian who will tell you that “some Englishmen” established an empire on which the sun never set.

Furthermore, all kinds of Jews, from the Marxist radicals to the redoubtable “Prof.” Adelson of the Jewish Press, generalize about “the Jews” when it suits them. The “some Jews” business is yet another red herring and attempt at special rules for Jews. It is understood by sensible people everywhere that reasonable generalizations do not necessarily have to include every single last member of a group. If it is acceptable to generalize for everybody else then why, I ask again, are Jews so privileged as to be the sole exception?

Dr. Tony Martin was a consistent anti-racist. He did not grant any special favors to those who wish to evade the truth of a historical genocide.
Therefore, anyone who attacks Dr. Martin – or attacks us for honoring the late Garveyite academic hero – under the guise of combating “racism” is nothing more than a disingenuous, anti-intellectual hypocrite who gives certain racists special rules and a free pass for historical crimes of genocide and slavery. May Allah have mercy on the soul of Dr. Martin.
