Why is insulting the Prophet of Islam permissible, but doubting the Holocaust is a crime?

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution addresses the double standards and hypocrisy behind one of the most highly touted platitudes of the liberal west.

Following flagrant insults to the Holy Prophet of Islam in France, the strong support of the French President and the Cabinet of that country for these malicious actions under the guise of “freedom of expression,” and also the role played by that government in spreading Islamophobia, Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, raised important questions in a message to the French youth.

[Editor’s note: This question about the double standards and hypocrisy that surrounds the liberals’ platitude of “freedom of speech” applies to many different current events and scenarios than just the issue of France and Zionist-owned publications like Charlie Hebdo. Insulting holy personalities, who promote righteousness among human beings to guide them out of ignorance, is praised, while searching for the truth among books of history and forensic evidence, is a crime. If Salman Rushdie, instead of insulting the prophet, wrote the books that have been written by historian David Irving, who was jailed for simply examining books of history from an independent viewpoint, would he be the hero of the liberal west and the Zionists? The answer is obvious. “Free speech” in the west means the freedom to promote falsehood, egoism, vulgarity/profanity, slander, and immorality – the truth is not covered by this so-called insurance policy.]

In His Name

Young French people!

Ask your President why he supports insulting God’s Messenger in the name of freedom of expression. Does freedom of expression mean insulting, especially a sacred personage? Isn’t this stupid act an insult to the reason of the people who elected him?

The next question to ask is: why is it a crime to raise doubts about the Holocaust? Why should anyone who writes about such doubts be imprisoned while insulting the Prophet (pbuh) is allowed?
