Lady Fatima al-Zahra: The Guiding Light for Muslim Women’s Strength and Steadfastness

The school of Lady Fatima al-Zahra, the honorable and holy daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (S), has raised countless strong Muslim women throughout the eras who have stood steadfast against the wicked and attained victory over the tyrants through the power of their pure spirits and unbreakable wills.

Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) is indeed loftiest model that embodies the principles of faith, morals, and human values. This honorable model has provided the means of human integration. It is from the School of Sayeda Fatima al-Zahra that female legendary models of resistance have graduated, distinguished by their faithful, moral, and humanitarian values, such Martyrs Sayeda Bint al-Huda as-Sadr and Sayedah Umm Yasser, as well as the late Hajjah Um Imad Mughniyeh, among others.

Martyr Amina “Bint al-Huda (Daughter of Guidance)” as-Sadr, brutally assassinated by the US/Zionist-backed regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

These unique models are a clear witness into how the genuine Muhammadi Islam honors women by urging them to be in the lead of countering the imperialist deviant trends through which the enemies seek to disgrace our nation, first and foremost by alienating women and infringing upon their nature, identity, and principles.

The hostile war launched against the Muslim women, their Hijab, and their chastity is led according to a malicious arrogant propaganda campaign, which well-perceives that corruption of women is the easiest way to conquer the nation, humiliate it, control it, and plunder its wealth.

Hence, there is a vital need to prepare and confront these hostile endeavors by seriously and sincerely preserving the principles of genuine Islam, which shield women from the evils and vices that dismantle their human dignity. Unequivocally, whenever human dignity is lost, social, health, and security misfortunes befall, and thus the schemes of the arrogant are realized.

Our dear sisters must perceive that the establishment of Imam Mahdi’s awaited just government is achieved only by Basira (deep insight), which preserve human instinct and ensures an honorable life. We ought to thoroughly adhere to Sayeda Fatima al-Zahra’s model, and this is evident in our cohesion and concerted efforts to relentlessly confront the enemies in all fields of confrontation. By our patience, awareness, and insight we receive the divine blessing of victory and steadfastness.

We cannot neglect the role of Muslim women today in the battle between truth and falsehood as well as in confronting arrogance. God Almighty says in the His holy book, the noble Qur’an (28:5): “And We want to bestow a favor upon those who have been oppressed and to make them Imams, and to make them the inheritors.” This divine promise of victory is achieved only by our women, who upbring righteous men, and who in their turn bravely and steadfastly face the Western arrogance and its various proxies, such as the takfiri terrorists who nearly consumed Iraq and Syria.

Hajjah Um Imad Mughniyeh, mother of Martyr Hajj Imad Mughniyeh, assassinated by the Mossad & CIA in 2008, and grandmother of Martyr Jihad Mughniyeh, killed by the Zionist military in Syria while serving in Hezbollah’s anti-ISIS operations in Syria

God’s promise for those who have been oppressed is achieved when the woman has sufficient solidity, and finds the appropriate conditions of the permanence of the Fatimahya (Fatima-like) thought, especially at this critical phase of human history, which is witnessing a strong struggle between truth and falsehood.

Imam Khomeini has established, upon the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, a civilized Islamic vision regarding the duties of women and their vital role in achieving the caliphate of God on earth, and their role in confronting the Zio-American arrogance. Besides, Imam Khomeini has stressed that righteous women are the reason for the elevation and victory of the nation, saying: “If they strip nations of courageous women and educators of men, these nations will be defeated and degenerated.”

Martyr Sayed Abbas al-Moussawi and Martyr Um Yasser al-Moussawi along with their infant son, all martyred in a cowardly airstrike by the illegitimate Zionist entity in the early 1990s.

Great Martyr Sayeda Umm Yasser al-Moussawi, says: “Sayeda Fatima al-Zahra’s womb has given birth to the twelve infallible Imams. This same womb has given birth to Imam Khomeini, in this time overwhelmed with disbelief. And this alone is a great blessing, which we cannot appreciate but by praising God who has created us in this age.”

Our contemporary time has witnessed numerous stories of exemplary Fatimahya women, in Iran, Yemen, Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon, Kashmir, Nigeria, etc., who have brilliantly supported the frontlines and prepared the ground for standing up to the barbaric aggression of the godless domineering powers. Hence, they are the ones who are making history. Whether we celebrate the birth of the Lady of light Sayeda Fatima al-Zahra or spend two weeks mourning her martyrdom (known as the days of Fatimiyya), we congratulate them for this utmost blessing of continuing her path and attaining the honor of the Fatimahya jihad.
