“إن معي لبصيرتي”
Nahjul Balagha (The Peak of Eloquence)
“With me is my basira (deep insight).”
– Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib, peace be upon him
In the name of God, the most compassionate to all of His creations, and the especially compassionate to those who accept His existence and serve His will (the believers).
Basira Press is an Islamic media outlet producing research, analysis, white papers, art, and other mediums related to both the material and metaphysical issues facing our world today as well as solutions to both material and metaphysical problems. Basira Press ideologically aligns with the Islamic Revolution, the global movement which started in Iran in the 1900s (culminating in 1979), and the Islamic Resistance Axis.
Basira in Arabic means deep insight, or to peel back the layers of deception that the enemies of humanity have piled on top of our perception in this temporary world, to keep our hearts far from God and farther from implementing God’s Kingdom on Earth through his chosen emissaries, namely the Mahdi and Jesus Christ who will both return together as brothers-in-arms to defeat the antichrist at the end of times.
We founded it in 2021 due to an absence of proper soft war coverage within Islamic Resistance media outlets. These outlets are indeed much better than us, both in repute and in accomplishments, and we are all on the same team.
However, their focus is mainly on geopolitics and military/security issues, and there is nothing wrong with that. But as believers in God and His prophets, our Islamic Revolution – which is for all Muslims around the world and even we can go as far as to say it is for all of God’s creation around the world – recognizes the existence of the soul, therefore the oppression of the soul through various means should be just as outrageous and just as much in our purview of media coverage as are bombs, bullets, and economic terrorism.
Very little attention is given to the attack on the family, how modern media promotes vice/sin to younger and younger audiences (psychologically and spiritually damaging them for the rest of their lives), how our diets were intentionally made to be unhealthy by the corporate-owned American regulatory & medical establishments, the UN 2030 agenda, and the damage to society that philosophical liberalism and all its godlessness has caused.
After all, the end goal of international Zionism and Anglo-American liberal imperialism is to establish a liberal social order in nations with traditional religious values, whether Muslim or Christian, and the Satanic powers have a PR debate as to what means should such an end be achieved: either by military invasion to kill as many “inferior” peoples as possible, or to put on a smiley face and rely on bloodless cultural warfare. The global elite seem to be shifting towards the latter, simply because they have been militarily defeated around the world (especially in West Asia) following the divine justice that precipitated after the assassination of Martyr Qasem Soleimani, and they will soon be defeated politically and economically too, leaving the only door for their wicked schemes to be soft war and cultural imperialism so as to achieve the end result of uprooting godliness from the last remaining societies that have it, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Our goal is to serve as a platform which does shed light on these issues so that the goals of the agents of the devil do not succeed in their soft war tactics, because if we do not, then even if we successfully repel military aggression and political subjugation, they will defeat us in the area of media, culture, philosophy, and sociology, through weapons like the UN 2030 agenda or the “Great Reset” plan.
We do not seek to replace the excesses of modernity and liberalism with some vague nostalgia for antiquity, as is the case with faux-“traditionalists” who just want a return back to feudalistic tyrants. Real traditionalism is not returning to the past, but rather connecting to the eternal, which is al Hayy (the ever-living, the eternal; one of the 99 names/attributes of Allah). French Muslim philosopher René Guénon in his book Crisis of the Modern World had a very poignant critique of these pseudo-traditionalists who just want a return to some vague point in the past. To the extent that some aspects of the past are better than exist today, it is due to the fact that the society of that time period was connected to al Hayy at a greater level than today’s extremist ultra-materialistic world, and the aspects of the past that are mired in ignorance, tyranny, and corruption, is due to their disconnection from al Hayy. Our challenge to philosophical liberalism is therefore not a call to return to some vague golden age of the past, but rather re-aligning the goals of our existence and of society with the will of al Hayy and the eternal wisdoms and values He gave to humanity via the 124,000 holy prophets He sent to guide all mankind.
Additionally, we recognize that the arrogant powers often infiltrates and misdirects various anti-establishment movements within the West, on all sides of the spectrum (left and right). The CIA created the Western left and the FBI infiltrated the Western right, all to keep them away from causing any harm to the American empire and international Zionism. Therefore, it is a folly of Islamic media to ally themselves with various “anti-establishment” figures from the West who come from the school of thought of these infiltrated and compromised camps, whether left or right, just because they say some lukewarm critiques of US policy, as there are plenty of other sincere people in the West to work with and build bridges with. We must hold firm to the principles of our religion and then, from a standpoint of strength and self-respect, can we reach out to others who share a different worldview than us based on common ground. Otherwise, the enemy can easily fool us by waving a Palestinian flag or complaining about US policy, just as the enemy of Imam Ali – Amr ibn al ‘As and Muawiya ibn Abu Sufyan – waved around copies of the Qur’an on spears to fool the soldiers of the Imam into thinking that Amr and Muawiya were really Muslims and that we should make peace with them.
Therefore, it is our goal to amplify our own voices firstly and foremostly, that is voices from the Islamic Revolution’s supporters around the world, and then secondly non-Muslim supporters but who are sincere and are not soft war agents of Anglo-American liberal imperialism and international Zionism.
Basira Press is a hybrid between a news outlet and a think tank, focusing less on quantity and more on quality. We will not be posting daily breaking news headlines, but rather publishing research, analysis, white papers, policy papers, podcasts, artwork, highlights on culture, promotion of family values, and more, as this is the much needed discourse that is missing in Islamic resistance media.
Basira Press is independently funded through cryptocurrency donations, donations from the personal funds of its staff members, and pieces submitted as pro bono by authors who believe in our mission.
